Diego Guillen graduated summa cum laude with a law degree from University of Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. He earned a master of laws (LL.M.) in corporate law and finance from New York University and is licensed to practice law in the state of New York. Diego has always strived on excellence to the top of the game.

Prior to Diego’s career in real estate, he began working for the most prestigious law firms in Colombia. He was hired by Chadbourne and Parke in New York City to join the Latin American corporate legal team. Diego advised numerous corporations in Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Mexico and Chile in mergers and acquisitions, international bond issuances, and corporate finance.

Diego entered the real estate industry as the General Counsel of Prodigy Network. In this position, Diego spearheaded the legal process that created the innovative REPs (Real Estate Participations), a new type of securities that revolutionized crowdfounding in international real estate investments. As Vice President of International Sales at Sieber, Diego has strengthened the international sales team, helped increase the market share of the firm in Latin American markets, and maintained Sieber as the most important real estate brokerage among international investors.

Diego’s extensive legal knowledge and thorough understanding of the New York and Miami markets position him as a first-class real estate investment sales executive. He is committed to expanding the operations of the company on a world-wide scale and assist the firm’s clients to achieve outstanding financial returns based on a superior and unparalleled real estate investment portfolio.

A health and fitness enthusiast, Diego enjoys weightlifting, worldly travel, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. He has a keen passion for international politics and philosophy. In his spare time, he can be found on the beach enjoying what he calls “the simple and precious things of life”. He is a believer in one’s absolute power to achieve it all and make the impossible come true. In the words of Michelangelo, which he repeatedly quotes, “the greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark”.
